Your Thoughts Shape You
The first thing that struck me when I read Darius Foroux’s “Think Straight” was: Thoughts are important and the quality of your thought matters.
Thoughts are powerful. What you feed your mind with daily determines how you view life, how you respond to situations, and ultimately, who you become.
The Bible says, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). This means your mindset isn’t just a background process; it’s actively shaping your reality. If your thoughts are constantly negative, fearful, or small, your actions will likely reflect the same. But when your mind is filled with hope, purpose, positivity and clarity, it becomes evident in the way you live.
Your mindset is a powerful tool. It’s either working for you or against you. That’s why it’s important to guard your thoughts, be intentional about what you consume, and speak life over yourself daily.
You can’t control everything that happens around you, but you can choose how you think through it. Choose thoughts that uplift, thoughts that challenge you to grow, and thoughts that align with who you truly want to become.
Your life moves in the direction of your strongest thoughts. So, feed your mind wisely.
